DAYS OF OPERATION
Dock &
Roll Shuttle Bus service operates REGULAR WEEKDAY ONLY SERVICE Monday
through Friday. ADJUSTED HOLIDAY SERVICE operates on Martin Luther
King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Labor Day and the Day after Thanksgiving
and coordinates with modified train and ferry schedules used on these
holidays. Adjusted Holiday Schedules are available online at www.dockandrollshuttle.com
just prior to these holidays. No SERVICE operates on New Years Day,
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
BOARDING LOCATIONS
During the morning and evening peak periods (6:00 AM - 9:00 AM and
4:00 PM - 7:00 PM) Dock & Roll Shuttle Bus will stop on-street
nearest the major locations listed in the schedule. During all other
periods, the shuttle will stop at the locations listed in the schedule,
and at any location along the route upon request by passengers where
the driver determines it is safe to stop. To signal driver of your
desire to be picked up, extend your arm outward upon approach of the
vehicle. Please inform your driver in advance if you want to be dropped
off at a location on the route other than those listed in this schedule.
FARE
NO FARE IS REQUIRED! Dock & Roll Shuttle Bus Service is FREE to
all customers. For fares and schedules for connecting rail, bus and
ferry services, please contact NJ TRANSIT, NY WATERWAY and Academy
Bus LLC.
WHILE ABOARD VEHICLES
Personal Items: Keep aisle ways clear of obstructions
at all times. Store larger items under seats.
Pets: Only service animals accompanying customers
with disabilities or their trainers are permitted aboard shuttle vehicles.
Smoking: Smoking is not permitted aboard shuttle
vehicles. Check with rail and ferry operators for smoking restrictions
at platforms and terminals.
Food and Drink: To keep vehicles clean, food and
drink are not permitted aboard shuttle vehicles.
Electronic Devices and Cell Phones: Listen or speak
at a volume that does not disturb other passengers.
Bicycles and In-Line Skates: Not permitted aboard
shuttle vehicles.
Safety: In the event of an emergency, please follow
the directions of the driver or emengency responders.
Personal Behavior: Please be courteous to drivers
and other passengers. We reserve the right to refuse service to unruly

4. Read schedule times across from left to right. Vertical bars identify
transfer options.
5. If transfer is required, see schedule panel(s) indicated in transfer
bar.

ACCESSIBLE SERVICES
This is a modified fixed route service. Scheduled shuttle vehicles
are equipped with lifts and seating areas for customers with disabilities.
Please ask driver for assistance. Passengers requiring off-route pick-up
must request service by calling State Shuttle at 800.427.3207 not
later than 3:00PM the day before departure. Requests will be honored
as operating circumstances permit.
USER TERMS AND
CONDITIONS
Dock & Roll Shuttle Bus Service is a local transit service pilot
project designed to improve suburban access and reduce congestion
in the Bayshore Region of Monmouth County. Developed by the Monmouth
County Planning Board and Township of Middletown, the service is funded
through federal, county and local sources provided by Monmouth County
and the Township of Middletown. Additional support has been provided
by public and private transportation partners including NY WATERWAY,
NJ TRANSIT and Meadowlink TMA. Operation beyond the pilot time period
is dependent upon continued ridership and funding support.
The County of Monmouth
and the Township of Middletown are not responsible for any inconvenience,
expense or damage resulting from errors in timetables, cancelled or
delayed shuttle buses shortage of equipment or available seats nor
failure to make connections with ferries, buses and trains of other
agencies. All reasonable efforts are made to ensure connections between
Dock & Roll shuttles and other rail, bus and ferry carriers but
such connections are not guaranteed. Connecting times for other service
providers shown in this schedule are for information only and are
subject to change. Please contact the specific service provider to
obtain the latest schedule and fare information.
County portions of Dock
& Roll Shuttle Bus Service are financed in part through grants
made available by the U.S. Department of Transportation, North Jersey
Transportation Planning Authority, Inc. the Federal Transit Administration
and the Federal Highway Administration. These services are operated
under contract to the County of Monmouth by State Shuttle, Inc. The
United States Government and the State of New Jersey assume no liability
for the operation of the service or its use by customers thereof.

5316 of the U.S. Federal Transit Administration for Modified Fixed
